Its context is institution-sized: ten terabytes of the company's own material, held at once and under one set of rules. Scale on its own is storage.
That is what lets it act instead of advise, and stop instead of guess.

Inside a procedure the company has set, MAIA does the work rather than proposing it — buying, scheduling, reconciling, drafting, replying — and carries the result into the systems the company already runs.
A rule in MAIA is not advice weighed against other considerations. It is a condition of the work: every time, in every application, however the request is phrased.
What sits inside the grant goes through. What sits outside it is withheld, and a person is named. The grant is set by the company, and only the company changes it.
The line does not move because the model is sure. That is the difference between a system you supervise and one you can leave running.
